my disguised secret
-another moment gone-
crinkled and folded,
faded lines and,
crushed edges,
it still was all.
scrawled and loopy,
dotted with hearts,
vented from the heart,
and it was my big fall.
tucked and balled,
crushed at the bottom,
stowed away for safe keeps,
attention did not call.
stored and lost,
rusty old letters,
naively written,
it had the drawl.
cautious and hesitant,
apprehensive and torn,
ripped with shaking palms,
broken against your law,
is the letter he never saw.
review.
