Alright everybody, so here's something I've debated on doing. There are several lost pieces to Blurring the Lines that will never be published anywhere, as a thing for my stories, this could happen from time to time as if I have a really great idea for a scene, I'll write it out right then. Occasionally for some reason, this snippets never make it into the actual story for different reasons, as such, I still want you guys to be able to enjoy them so I figured I'd make a place for this pieces to call home. Let's begin.

Context: Just after Cosmo's Death

Everyone cheered as the shell burst open, light flooding out from it's internals. Everyone, that is, except for an twelve year old kitsune. Whom of which just stared at the explosion in pure shock and horror. His hands were still tightly gripped to the controls, shaking, as he refused to remove his eyes from where Cosmo had just been. Everything seemed a blur to him as he slowly stepped out of his seat and returned to his quarters, as soon as the door had sealed behind him, and he was in total privacy, he burst into uncontrollable tears and sobs. Throwing himself onto his bed, he eventually sunk down to a seated position at the side of it, tails wrapped around himself in an attempt to provide some comfort.
"I killed her…" Tails thought to himself. The door to his quarters opened and Sonic entered, concerned for his surrogate brother.
"Tails?" He started, "Is everything alright?"
"No… It's not… It's not alright…" He replied, trying to avoid crying in front of Sonic.
Sonic came over and kneeled himself down in front of him, Tails simply threw himself into him, unable to hold off his emotions any longer. Eventually as the kit's crying started to die down, Sonic started to speak.
"Tails, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything, I tried everything to try and bring her back, this was all I could get." Sonic pressed a small white seed into Tails' palm. "I'm sorry…"
The kitsune started to cry again as he fell to the floor, laying on his chest and keeping the hand holding all that was left of her close to his chest. The locket around his neck brushing against his hand.
"Why… does everyone I love… have to die!?" Tails yelled out to nobody in particular. "Why!?"
He was grabbed by Sonic and pulled into a firm hug, eventually, after what felt like hours. Tails fell asleep, exhausted by his emotional outburst, still clutching all that was left of his chance at love.

Context: Sonic's discovery of Eggman logos on Sally's internals

"Tails, I know about the robotizer."
The smile instantly vanished from Tails' face as he took on a fake look of confusion. "What robotizer?"
"The one you used on Sal, the reason she has Eggman logos on her internals. I thought you said it was your machine."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't play dumb with me Miles. I know you're aware of it, tell me, is it really irreversible?"
"Its really not, if it was, I would have figured it out a long time ago."
"If you had used one of your own machines, could you have undone it?"
Tails hesitated in his answer for a minute. "I guess it's possible it cou-"
Sonic's face took on an angry snarl as Tails slowly backed away.
"Sonic?"
"You liar."
"What?"
"LIAR! Why did you use Eggman's machines?!"
"It was the only way!"
"You don't know that! What if you could have made a machine to save her?"
"I- I-" Tails stammered, trying to find the right words.
"Would she still be a robot?!"
Tears stared to form at the edges of the kitsune's eyes.
"Tell me Miles! Would she?!"
"I j- just-"
"Just what!?"
"I just didn't want to lose my parents again!" Tails finally blurted out, before he collapsed to the floor.
Sonic's face instantly turned to one of concern. "What?"
"I just- I just c- couldn't go through all of that again! I just couldn't…"
Tears continued to stream down the kitsune's face as Sonic knelt to his level.
"Tails, I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have just attacked you like that!"
The kitsune simply buried his face into Sonic's shoulder, continuing to sob uncontrollably.
"I'm so sorry," He managed to mutter through tears. "I know it was selfish, I know it was wrong, but I just couldn't lose her!"
"Tails, you shouldn't have to be sorry. If anything, I should be."
The room went silent, only broken by Tails sniffling and sobs.

Reason for not being included: Didn't Flow Right
Context: Middle of Chapter 16

"Hey Dad! Sorry it took so long to get here, I got lost." The young kitsune yelled as he ran into the workshop. Kay followed closely behind.
"I don't remember paging you…"
"That's cause you didn't! Just here to see you!" Miles replied, dragging a chair over to the table.
"Miles I'm really busy at the-"
"What you working on?" He asked, jumping up onto his chair to see.
"Improved defensive turrets, modifying their designs to conceal better."
"That's awesome!"
He just watched Robotnik work for a bit, before finally, Miles broke the silence.
"Dad, I love you, thanks for being awesome!"
"Yes Miles, don't you have somewhere better to be?"
"Aren't you supposed to say-"
"Miles I'm busy!"
"But…"
"Go play with your friend or something! Just stop distracting me!"
The kit's eyes lowered to the floor and he walked out of the room, dragging his tails behind him as he went.
"He doesn't… love me?" He started to himself.
He shook his head, as if the thought itself could fall out. "No, he's just busy. Come on Kay! We'll find something else to do!"
That's it for now, and for probably the next couple months, every scene I have written at the moment is going to be included. If enough end up with nowhere to go, I'll do another chapter.
