I was thinking of when Percy and Annabeth make their final stand, and that there is a possibility that they might die at the end, and even though they never stop fighting, and keep on keeping on, some people don't, and that made me cry and then I wrote this. I also put this on another site that wasn't fanficiton, but I do think you could take it either way, cause it's a song and everyone interprets those differently.
