AN: First little fic, in a real long while. Very little meat in this fic, just getting started again, but hope you enjoy it none the less. I have missed writing for you all, and hope to find more time to make some more pieces. I hope life is treating you well, enjoy!

"Beej, its no use, its just going to cause things to get worse." His bunkmate added, while sitting up from his bunk.

"How do you know, ever cheated on your wife have ya?" He replied, setting his pen down then picking it back up again.

"Well fine you want to ruin your marriage over one innocent mistake, then do it with out my expertise with words." He started out of the tent. "This isn't smart Beej, just isn't smart." He exited the tent quietly then.

The doctor then stared down at his note pad…

I'm just a blank sheet of paper

This fool's about to write you a letter

To tell you that he's sorry

For the way he did you wrong

To ask for your forgiveness

For leaving you alone

He's been looking down at me

It seems like forever

He takes the top on and off his pen

It's like he can't decide

What he wants to say

If he'd just tell the truth

I'd be on my way

"The truth BJ. That's always the best way to go about things. Just tell the truth my son, it shan't lead you astray." The priest offered, not entirely understanding all the details of the situation.

"Right Father, I know. The truth."

But he just stares at me

And I just stare at him

He don't know where to start

To say he doesn't want it to end

Now its one hour later

And I'm still a blank sheet of paper

"Still nothing?" His bunk mate returned, looking over at his friends note pad.

"I never thought I'd be in this position Hawk, I don't exactly have the words rolling off my tongue."

"Look, this is gonna drive you bonkers, if you don't get it out. And with all due respect, I'm not looking forward to the sleepless nights of worrying over your not sleeping because of this letter which will cause us both nights of not sleepingness."

He caught a slight smile from his friend. "I'm touched by your concern."

"Beej, you're either gonna tell her now, never, or later. This entire event lies in the hand of you and whether that sheet of paper stays blank or not."

The sunlight is shining through the curtains

He's almost asleep pen in hand

There's a tear in his eye

That refuses to fall

If it would land on me

That would say it all

He wipes a tear away, and closes the note pad. Maybe one day, he thinks; but not now, not so far away, perhaps not even ever.

Oh but he just stares at me

And I just stare at him

He don't know where to start

To say he doesn't want it to end

One broken heart later

And I'm still a blank sheet of paper

END!
