As the Titans grew older, the thought of ending the team was coming up. It wasn't until Beast Boys 20 birthday did they finally make a decision. The team was going their separate ways. After a few years of dating Beast Boy and Raven decided to get a place together after the Titans disbanded.
It was nice for the first two years. But the happiness didn't last. One day Raven had gotten into an accident after leaving the house do to a fight the two had. Raven was in the hospital for two weeks. The last week. Beast Boy, now Gar, had visited less, he said that work had kept him busy. On the day she was released she had called him on the house phone, but he said he couldn't come get her, then she heard it, another female voice, one she didn't want to hear.
"Gar, who was that?" She asked.
"No one." was his reply
"Gar I know you are lying. Tell me the truth who is it?" she countered.
"I'm sorry Rae." was all he got out before she hung up on him. She instead called Kori, formerly Starfire, to see if she could get her and if she could stay at her place. Kori said she could, but she had asked why, but Raven wasn't ready to say it.
After a week, Raven had gotten the courage to go back and confront Gar. When she entered the house, she found him at the dining room table with his head in his hands.
"Garfield." She spoke stoically.
"Raven," He said as he whipped his head around, "I'm so sorry I-"
"Thats enough." She stated. "I don't want to hear any apology. You hurt me, broke my trust. And to think, I wanted to spend my life with you. I guess I dodged a bullet. Now, to get down to why I am here. I want you to leave." She finished
"What?! Rae! I didn't mean to! It was an accident!" His voice starts to break.
"No. I need you to leave. I don't want to see you. Get out."
"But I-" He starts but soon realizes her mind is made up, and goes to pack his things. As he walks out Raven watches him and says, "You did this to yourself Garfield." and walks back in the house and closes the door, crumpling to the floor and starts to cry. She didn't want this, but he cheated on her.
After a year or so she could no longer live in the house they had once shared and moved into a small apartment. She had found out from her friends that Garfield had felt bad about what he did, and that he never looked at a women they way he did her. She felt bad, but she couldn't take him back. A week after she received that news, she found out that he had died. It was a car accident. She lived with that incident for the rest of her life, until her death, 30 years later.
