/ABOUT THE FIC:

1. This is dedicated to my sappy mate, Nicole Kaye Cortado, whose nursing a "broken heart right now.", I know your patience will win him over. : and believe me, you dont want him to be in anyone arm's except yours, so FIGHT! :) and to Mark Louie Avancena, whose mentally confuse and should be dead right now. I love you both! :D

2. This is somehow a prologue of my fanfic "Just Friends" (dedicated to nicole and mark also) which I'll be posting soon, the poem is full of bitterness, lots and lots of 'em HAHAHAHA because Ive been in a #$$T%#$! love affair. =))

3. Its a YAMANAKA INO and NARA SHIKAMARU pairing :", because they're like the best "bestfriend-lover" pairing ever.

/Disclaimer: If I could, I would own Naruto, sadly I cant, so I dont.

15 LESSONS.

She's lying flat on her bed, with her heart in her mouth and her tears unshed,

Her long lashes are fluttering as she tries hard to supress the unwanted choke and sob buried down her pained chest.

Crying does not make her feel better and to make it worse, she was disgusted with herself,

How could someone so close to her, broke her heart into tiny microscopic pieces?

And how could two words, change what is suppose to be THEIR forever?

She was a strong woman, everyone says she is,

So with the remaining force she can muster, she yanked herself up to what feels like a coffin and tied her long blonde hair, he used to compliment.

She searched for a pen and a piece of paper, and struggled to write the fifteen things she should have known..

Accept that people and feelings change.

Accept that time does not heal everything.

Accept that waiting for something is worth it.

Accept that the people you cant live without, can live without you.

Accept that love does not always end in a happy ending.

Accept that not everything he says when he is drunk is true.

Accept that kisses in the forehead, does not always mean true love.

Accept that he was never yours to keep.

Accept the difference between holding hands and falling in love.

Accept that kisses does not always mean anything.

Accept that what you think is something more, can mean nothing.

Accept that actions does not speak louder than words.

Accept that being special is far different from being the one.

Accept that there is a gap between being needed and wanted.

And lastly as she struggle to write, the rule she should have not dare to break, as she feel the ugly tears welling in her cerulean eyes,

letter by letter she started to inscribe the far most important thing she has learn, realization hit her hard like a bullet aim only for a single target ,

she felt something inside her snap and broke and with that she could not held the unwanted tears anymore..

"Never fall for a friend."
