Summary: Rai and noise.

Make Some Noise

By Dark Ice Dragon

To the nobles, being noisy is an insult. They should be quiet and elegant.

That is not what happens in the household. In the household, it is loud, bright and messy (no matter Frankenstein's attempts while the children are there).

That is how Rai knows everyone is happy, even if Frankenstein mutters about finally having some peace and quiet when it is just the two of them. He knows Frankenstein enjoys their company as well.

It's when the house is full but also silent that Rai feels the heaviness of the emotions of the ones around him. The others tiptoeing through the house to try to not disturb him or his rest. Even though it is that exact worry for him that acts almost like a sickness through their bodies that keeps him up.

He will do his best to try and have them do it again. He would much rather hear their laughter filling the house than the silence.
