AUGH! I'm so sorry you haven't heard from me in such a long time! D:

Made this one-shot out of boredom XD

I DON'T OWN FMA NOR ITS CHARACTERS, THANK YOU.

-ooo-ooo-

"What're yer orders?"

Just from the sneering expression on the greasy man's face, Roy Mustang new this was the guy they were looking for.

Taking a glance down at the tattered piece of paper this place called a menu, he pointed to a random squiggle and waited as their suspect nodded before turning towards his subordinate, inwardly seething at the perverted looks their suspect gave her.

"I'll have the same."

He never liked undercover missions.

Roy tapped his fingers on the table, in what, to others, may have looked like a sign of boredom, but to the eyes of second lieutenant Jean Havoc, who was sitting across the room, it was a confirmation.

It was time to unleash the dragon.

"Here're your ord'rs."

The man set down his bowl sloppily, making the unknown contents slosh around in the so-called soup, but he didn't mind.

What he DID mind, however, was the way his gaze roamed all over Riza's body.

Disturbing.

The bells above the door tinkled.

Roy smirked. This was payback for checking out his lieutenant.

"No kids allowed in here."

Mustang could perfectly see the way Edward's mouth twitched.

"I ain't no kid."

'Warning number one.' Roy began his countdown.

The oily faced man left his place at their table and walked up to the alchemist, glaring down at him. Silence engulfed the room.

"Don't seem like it to me."

"You got a problem with my height, baldy?"

'Warning number two.' The colonel swore he heard a growl.

"Yeah. I ne'er liked tiny things."

"Did you just call me….'tiny'?

'Three strikes, and your out!'

Now, as much as Roy detested this man's guts, he still felt a little twinge of pity for the guy because of what he was about to face.

Just a little.

The criminal turned towards Alphonse, who was standing quietly behind his brother.

"You, pretty boy, why don't you an' this shorty do me a fav'r and get out o' my bar?"

After that, however, Roy thought that he deserved whatever he got.

No one insults the Fullmetal Alchemist four times and live to tell the tale.

(Okay, maybe all of them have lived, but they only survived because Alphonse had the strength to pull Edward away from the fools.)

"I'M. NOT. SHORT!"

Havoc came by and sat down beside them, chuckling quietly.

"He was a dead man from the start."

"Never even had a chance."

"Why hasn't Alphonse intervened yet?"

The three turned to look towards the younger Elric, and true enough, he was just standing there, watching his brother beat the guy up without any expression on his face.

-oo-oo-oo-

After they wrapped it up and Edward was attacked by the medic, Roy approached Alphonse to ask a question.

"Alphonse, how come you didn't stop your brother awhile ago?"

Al turned towards him, and up close, he realized that what he thought was a neutral expression was actually one of quiet, but undeniably pure, rage.

The black haired colonel expected every reason as to why he didn't step in, but never had he expected the answer that came out of the usually smiling mouth.

"He called me a 'pretty boy'."

After that, all doubts about the brothers not being related at all flew out the window.
