A/N: Welp, here it is people. Next up in the Mane 6/Rider Series is Eiji Hino and Applejack! I honestly (Geddit?) didn't know who to pair here, but Garfieldfan23 suggested the pony for this one. And then I decided to put Eiji with her, just because. Enjoy!

It was night at Sweet Apple Acres, as The Apple Family was all asleep after a hard day of farm work. In her bed, an Orange Earth Pony with a yellow mane stirred. Applejack represented Honesty in The Mane Six, and she had been through a hard day when The Infamous Flim Flam Brothers drove away some customers from buying apples with their own ones that were actually painted oranges. They only managed to sell three apples and one apple cider bottle, and this was tiring sitting there waiting. Applejack rolled over and thought to herself that maybe she wasn't up to it.
All of a sudden, a noise outside roused her. She shot up out of bed, wondering what in tarnation made that noise, as Applejack grabbed her hat and a torch and galloped out of the farmhouse.
It was very dark, and there were particularly no sounds...Except for the noise of someone munching on an apple. Applejack whipped round and shone her torch in the direction of the noise and saw a man lying on two upturned Apple baskets eating an apple!
"Who in tarnation are you?" Shouted Applejack, but not too loudly for fear of rousing the neighbours.
"Hello there!" Said the man in between Apple bites. "I'm Eiji! I was hungry so I somehow managed to get into this place and have one of your fine Apples." He continued.
Applejack was dumbfounded.
"But why would you go about choosin' here of all places to have a bite to eat sugar cube?" She asked.
"On my way here I met one of your friends. She called herself Pinkie Pie and somehow knew all about me. She told me that you were in need of cheering up, so I came here for a bite to eat and to tell you a few things." Said Eiji as he gestured Applejack to come closer and pulled something out of his pocket.
"What is that?" Asked Applejack as she gazed at the red coin that appeared to be half broken.
"It's a core medal. Or, to be more specific, the Taka Medal. This is what powered my friend, Ankh. But, when it got broken, I lost him. And now I travel, hoping to get him back one day." Answered Eiji, as Applejack smiled.
"You're not the only one with problems sugar cube. Back when I was just a little filly, I was sent to live with The Oranges. I missed my home, but then a magnificent rainbow burst guided me home. Later, I met this mate named Twilight Sparkle and became one of her best friends. Now, I feel just fine." Said Applejack, as Eiji smiled and got to his feet, after finishing his Apple and pocketing two more.
"Glad to hear that. Remember that Anything Goes, okay?" He asked Applejack as he started to walk away.
"You betcha, sugar cube." Replied Applejack as Eiji walked off and she walked back into the farmhouse to get some sleep.
