Shadows of the future
The hollow I felt has gone for now
I no longer fear the storm
I never shelter from the rain
But the darkness prevails, in my dreams there is no escape.
I reach up to the stars for direction in my life…
The closer I get the dimmer they glow
The dawn never comes
In the darkness I fall
The ghostly shadow pulls me down.
The floor quivers with my touch…the shimmering reflection blinks.
I see his eyes, his real existence
This shadow of the future
He longs for you still...
The pain never stops...
