This is a story involving a OC and 2 other OC characters I am working on creating a a story for

and the Bill and Nan talking in 1982 clip from TB recently inspired me to do this. Plus this small story exaplins that Bill wasnt exactly the first vampire Nan has recruited.

NYC in 1981

We see a 30 year old dark blond looking vampire walking out of a apartment building he lives at and heading somewhere when a voice calls him out.

Nan: I have been Being trying to track u down, Mr. Bendlin. You are sort of elusive.

Seth flashes his fangs at Nan and she flashes hers at him.

Seth: Who are u?

Nan: My name is Nan Flanagan. I have been trying for months to find u. Even your maker Resa Antrelli hasn't heard from u in years. Heard rumors you might be able to help us out on something. Walk with me, I want to talk.

Seth hesistantly walks with her.

Seth: you know Resa?

Nan: Yes, know her for a few years. We met in London a few years back. She is a big supporter of what some of us are trying to accomplish for the vampire community. She wont admit it, but I think she still in love with you the way she talks about you.

Seth: I know, but we chose to be friends. Most makers and progeny and have complicated relationships.

I know of a guy named Bill Compton who I met back in the early 1930's who had a psycho for a maker. Me and Resa met her and we both were worried about Bill. Luckily he finally got away from her. But not me and Resa, we are good friends.

Nan tries to get her and Seth back on what she wanted to talk about.

Nan: Look, I know you hardly feed on humans. According to records and reports from vampires u and I both know such as Resa , U drink mostly animal blood.

Anyway, what If I could introduce you to a group of powerful vampires who like u who want to mainstream and are trying find alternative food supplies for us vampires.

Seth: Mainstreaming? My make Resa told me about idea shortly after I ran into her after WW2. She was hopeful it could be possible someday. (sighs for a moment) But it's still a dream. Not possible.

Nan: Oh, right now on 3 continets the most brilliant scientific minds in our community are working on alternative food sources for our kinds. And one of them named Louis Pasteur is close to synthesizing human blood. Real Human blood made in a lab that we could survive on. Consider what this would mean for you and others u know who don't like to feed on humans.

Seth: That would be a miracle, but what does this have to do with me?

Nan: Considering your skills as a bounty hunter of sorts and what Resa has told me about you and you also were served as a solider in both WW1 Britain and later in WW2 for the USA and your sympathy towards humans, we want u to help us deal with renegade vampires who may cause problems if mainstreaming becomes possible. What do u say?

Seth: Okay, but no funny business. I am not exactly good at trust when it comes to other vampires. Trust a number of our kind,mostly females, and that is mainly cause I have had a number of relationships with female vampires, but only 2 I truly trust: my maker Resa and my progeny Chelsea Fritzbaum.

Nan: Excellent, I will be in touch with more details. Be talking to u again soon.

Nan walks away. Seth walks the other direction.
