Jean walked down the hallway one lazy Sunday afternoon with nothing particular to do; so she was more happy when Kitty called for her attention. "Jean, you got a minuet?" Kitty asked poking her head out of her bedroom doorway. "Sure" Jean said, walking into the younger mutant's room which was covered in clothes.

"It's Lance's Birthday tomorrow and I have no idea what to wear!" Surveying the room Jean saw what must have been every article of clothing Kitty currently owned layed over every bit of available space save her roommate's bed. Rouge who sat upon the her bed behind a horror novel said "And this is what I get fir living with them idiots fir two week."

"And yet you don't know his favorite color!"

"He's not my guy..."

"I Think this color red would look great on you Kitty" Jean jumped in defusing the raising tension. "Thanks Jean!" Said Shadowcat. "That reminds me, how, um, did you talk like start to talk to Storm about getting on the pill?"

Jean paused, taking a slow breath. "Kitty, it's a good thing you want to get on birth control, but I really don't think it's a good idea to become sexually active until you're eighteen."

"But you're not eighteen yet." Kitty pointed out.

"And I'm not on the pill."

"WHAT?" Kitty and Rouge cried in unison. "You have got to be kidding me" Rouge continued, even putting down her book. "Even I didn't think you were that stupid." "What the heck are you two talking about?" Jean asked, feeling her heart race.

"Poor Jamie walked in on a redhead and and someone with 'door shutting with a red light power' getting it on in the cleaning supply room in the hanger, I don't think that boy will ever be the some." Rouge informed Jean.

"It wasn't me!"

"Come on Jean" Kitty said, jumping on her bed and hugging a pillow, ready for a juicy story. "We can keep a secret!" This made Rouge laugh. "Like when Bobby wore Ray's shirt on that field trip to impress a girl?" "Hey..."

Jean walked out of the room too dazed from the new information to care about the girls squabbles.
