Kids are all so young and naïve. We plan our whole life out and set our heart on it turning out in the way we want it, but with life's cruel twists it never does. I never wanted our relationship to fall apart, but it obviously did and that is why I am sitting out here in the rain, my hair sticking to my cheeks and tears brimming in my eyes.
The tears start to fall and, as they do, I stand up. I'm outside my boyfriend - wait- ex boyfriend's-brothers house right now so I knock the door.
The door opens and he is shocked to see me, his faded green hair falling forward.
"Ferb. Oh Ferb" I start to cry again as he opens his arms and I fall into them, taking in a light smell of aftershave. He cups his hand over the back of my head and holds me secure until I've cried all the tears out of me. He asks if I'd like him to walk him home.
But I've realized, I couldn't be any happier here,
With Ferb, my safety net.
