A/N: This just popped into my head. I dedicate it to Peechy-Keen, just because I read "Chicks Dig It" and thought of this. I also wanted to do something to address the Donny/April pairing. Review please, but no flames please.
Mikey sprawled over the couch, one foot hanging over the back, the other sticking up in the air, his arms by his sides.
Leo was sitting at the table, drinking a cup of tea, and Raph had set up a dartboard and was hurling kitchen knives at it. Donny was sitting in a chair across from Mikey, reading a book. Mike blinked as a random thought drifted through his brain.
"Has anyone ever noticed," he started, rolling off the couch and landing on his plastron on the floor.
His brothers looked up at him, with almost no interest.
The orange banded turtle lifted his face from where it was pressed into the floor. "Donny's a ladie's man."
Dead silence met his declaration. Donny was the first to speak.
"W-what?" Donny had a blank look-one that wasn't seen very often- across his face. "Mikey, how on Earth did you come to that conclusion?"
Leo shook his head. "We probably don't want to know Don," he said, then raised his mug to his mouth.
Mikey pushed himself up from the floor. "Think about it! He's always buddy buddy with April, and she's kissed him before-"
Donny blushed bright red. Or as red as a green guy can go. "Just on the cheek!" he quickly amended. Mike didn't even notice.
"Then there's Renet. She seems to cling to you and Leo more, and you keep picking her up and carrying her!"
"That's because there was a dino stampede!"
"What about Jhanna? She left you a huge wad of hair, to express her love for you!"
"N-no! It was a token of thanks!"
Raph finally quit playing with knives and glanced over. "What did you do with that hair, anyway?"
Silence. Donny looks away awkwardly. Leo coughs, and brings up, "What about Angel?"
Mikey blinked and his mouth dropped open a tiny bit. "I forgot about her. But there's Quarry! You're reeeally close with her huh?"
Leo sighed and shook his head again, getting up from the table and taking his mug over to the sink and turning the water on, letting it rinse out the remains of the hot drink from the depths of the cup.
Donny leapt to his feet. "You know what? This conversation is over."
Mikey grinned evilly. "You're just running because the truth is too much for you to handle. I may have mentioned her, but I haven't even gotten to your crush on April!"
Donny froze. There was a glint in Donny's eyes that the others rarely saw, but when they did see it, they knew that Donny was about to get mad. Raph paused in the act of yanking a butcher knife out of the target board, and Leo dropped his empty mug into the sink.
The others had suspected that Don had a crush, but they never brought it up, knowing that Donny would never be honest with them about it. Michelangelo, being Michelangelo, had no tact whatsoever. This was the first time that any of the turtles had voiced the idea that Don had a crush.
"You take that back." Donny's voice was low and dangerous.
"Oooh, I hit a nerve!"
Without warning, Donatello launched himself across the room, and football tackled Mike into the floor.
Leo sighed and resumed washing his mug. The thought had drifted through his mind that maybe Donny was crushing, but then he had realized, if he was, it would be a touchy subject, seeing how April and Casey had a thing, and that Donny was a teenage turtle, and April was an adult human.
So really, Mikey was getting what was coming to him.
