Ohana
Okay, just watched Hawaii Five-O and had to write this add on to tonight's episode...Ohana. Kona looked so sad when she had to put her uniform up, but when she came out of the bathroom to see they guys dressed in their uniforms, it was so touching. So, since Kona missed her graduation, the guys are going to take care of her. This is her POV as she is getting into her uniform to have dinner with the guys.
If I could own any show right now, this one would be it. I could so play with Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) McGarrett...yum.

Kono Kalakaua was back in the ladies room putting on her dress blues. Steve, Danny, and Chin were taking her out to celebrate her graduation from the police academy. She'd work long and hard to get to where she was today, and she was proud to be in law enforcement. She was proud to be working side by side with Steve, Danny, and her cousin Chin. He was the reason she became a cop.
She finished getting dressed and put some make up on to hide the bruises. She'd missed her graduation and the graduation dinner, but this was much better. Dinner with the guys, means more to her than dinner with fellow graduates and family that were uncomfortable. This was her life now, working with the best law enforcement agents on the island.
Kono put the gun that Steve gave her into her purse, and the medallion that Danny gave her around her neck. She put the flashlight that Chin gave her next to the gun, in her purse. The inscription made her smile again. To my cousin, Who always brings light to darkness. It was an honor to receive her badge from him.
She pulled her hair back in a neat bun and took one last look at herself in the mirror. Satisfied with herself, she turned and walked out the door to join her team.

I know it's short, but I'm still learning the characters...I mean it's only the second episode. LOL
Thanks for reading, please review. Okay, I am replacing Kona with Kono because I am getting too many complaints, but according to everything I have found on imdb and tv. Com, it's supposed to be Kona. Her family seems to be the one s who call her Kono, and I still haven't heard the others call her that yet. I could be wrong. But I'm also right calling her Kona, as the websites all say this...Actress Grace Park was cast as rookie detective Kona ("Kono") Kalakaua
So, I'm not sure if I should keep calling her Kono or Kona.
