Here's a new poem I wrote about Yami Yugi, Yugi Moto's other half. He is kind of a cool character to write about, and his personality reminds me of a character from the book "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. He's really a neat great guy!
Disclaimer: Genius Kazuki Takahashi owns Yu-Gi-Oh. I own the poems and stories.
The Mysterious Yami Yugi
His eyes are amethyst windows.
His mouth is red as a cherry.
And yet, those bullies back off,
as they never understand him at all.
He knows what's in a girl's heart without even telling her.
He knows how to slip into the gentleman's role.
He knows what's best for a young boy.
He has a wild-at-heart kind of soul.
He knows how to put things into words.
They often call him "the Sun".
He knows how to paint pictures with his words.
The late, great Sammy Davis, Jr. would call him "the deep one."
But Yami Yugi would walk into the setting sun.
There would be wise words from him to heed.
But he is remembered as a William Wallace,
riding on a noble steed.
Well, I hope you liked it. (This poem is dedicated to Journey Maker, as she's a really great friend to me.)
