Sitting here on the benches; depression had finally hit me. It sucks when you're at the school dance, the last school dance to be exact and you have no one to dance with. I'm an overthinker, so I've been thinking of my past relationships. All the fights, arguments we had and feeling like everything I do I mess up, make a mistake. The dance floor is filled with couples. I see my best frineds dancing with their boyfriends.

"Oh man." I whisper under my breath. I glance down at the purple gown I had bought with the money from my check. It cost me a thousand but I worked extra these past few weeks to buy it. Not only helping my parents with groceries and bills, but…this dress too. I shake my head and sighed. I want someone too. I had let my hair down from the usual ponytail getup I wear. I made my makeup was put on carefully instead of just rushing and dabbing it on my face. Not saying I look like a clown when I'm done. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't pay attention to the dark shoes that stopped in front of me. Slowly lifting my head I saw Kazama Jin standing in front of me. He was wearing a tux with a dark blue black hair was combed back, and like always a few bangs fell down over his tan forehead. Wow he looks so handsome.

He held his hand out to me.

"Will you dance with me Xiaoyu?" He asked with a smile on his face. Surprise hit me. Jin wants to dance with me. He's popular and I'm not.

"Rr.. really?" I stuttered.

"yeah."

I slowly let my hand go to his and he leads me onto the dance floor. The D.J. switched cd's in the audio system and soon Lips of an angel starts playing.

"I like this song." Jin said as he grabbed my waist and held me to him.

"Me too." He smiled at me and I gave him a smile back. The crowd seemed to scatter from us but after a few minutes I didn't pay attention to the crowd except for only Jin.

His smile remained on his face and I couldn't help but smile back at him. I've had a crush on Jin since grade school when we both had history class together. He was cute back then, handsome now.

The colored lights changed to a dark purple and would change to a dark blue. He tightened his grip on my waist and he then leaned in close to my lips.

"Xiao. I'm glad you didn't go with anyone else to this dance." He whispered above my lips.

"I am too. If I." Jin cut me off as his lips lingered above mine.

" I love you Ling Xiaoyu."

My heart skipped a beat.

"I love you Jin." The slow dance songs had ended and Jin stepped back. I glanced around to see everyone had stopped dancing and was watching us with grins on their faces. I turned my attention back to Jin. His smile was bright.

"Xiaoyu."

"yes?" My voice was crackling a little, my heart was beating so hard, I swear everyone could hear it beating.

"Will you be mine?" Jin brought his hands from behind his back and handed me a beautiful red rose. "I've always wanted you to be with me and I finally braved up the courage to ask you." YES On the inside, I had a little Woot Woot party.

" I will be yours' Jin."

His big hand grasped my hand and he pulled me towards him. With a smile on our lips he slowly leaned over and kissed me. When our lips met, I was the happiest teenager has ever been at
