"Hey Lucy, What do you want for Christmas?!"
I clench my jaw.
"I don't know, maybe some peace and quiet!"
Natsu's been at my house all day ever since he came over for breakfast. I've tried kicking him out but he keeps complaining about the snow, and I'm not that heartless that I'd make him go outside in the cold. Now I'm really regretting letting him stay in my apartment.
"Oh come on, you don't want anything else?"
His face was dangerously close to mine. I could feel the blood rushing to my face.
Crap, this always happens! I can never stay mad at him when he's near me.
"Natsu, you should probably head home before it gets too dark out."
"Yeah, I guess."
He walked over to the window; his usual way of leaving, but once he looked out, he smiled and turned towards me.
"Looks like tonight is going to be a sleepover."
"What are you talking about?!"
I walk over to the window and I see that it's snowing so hard outside that I can barely see the river three feet in front of me.
There was no way anyone could survive outside like this. So then that meant...
"I call the bed tonight!"
Natsu flopped down onto the bed before I had a chance to say anything.
"Natsu! This is my house so you can sleep on the floor!"
"But I'm your guest so I should get to sleep in the bed."
Dammit! He's so frustrating!
*2 Hours Later*
It took a while but I finally got the bed and Natsu got the fire from my stove. I lay my head on my pillow and watch the snow falling outside my window. There really is something magical about Christmas. It makes us all take a step back and remember our family and friends. It's a time of year to spend with those you love. I turn over in bed to see Natsu sleeping peacefully on the floor. It's very rare to see Natsu so quiet. His face looks so innocent while he sleeps. I've never noticed it before but he sleeps with a smile on his face.
I wonder if he's having a good dream?
"Luuccyy..."
D...Did I just hear what I think I did?! I stare at him just a little longer but he doesn't speak again.
I smile just a little bit.
"Merry Christmas Natsu."
Before I knew it, my eyes grew heavy and the last thing I remember is seeing his face.
*9 Hours Later*
Where was I? Oh yeah, I fell asleep last night and there was a blizzard. Wait a minute, if it's so cold outside, why am I really warm?
I open my eyes to find Natsu's face inches from mine. I fight back a scream.
Shit! I forgot he spent the night! He must have got cold in the middle of the night so he crawled into bed when I was asleep.
A part of me was moments away from kicking him out but the other was screaming with excitement! Not every girl wakes up to their crush's face!
I just hope he doesn't wake up now and find me staring at him like a creep or something.
"Luce, I know you're awake."
Dammit.
"How long have you been awake?"
"A couple hours maybe. I couldn't fall asleep. Do you know that you talk in your sleep?"
"What?!"
Is he serious right now?!
He laughed.
"Don't worry, you didn't say anything personal. All you said was that I'm the hottest guy you know!'
"You're mental. Now get out of my bed!"
