They came late at night.
The flames made us run out, huddled close as Mary called the fire department. We were out of danger and that is all that mattered, but we weren't.
The pressure on my side where my sister was standing left before a deafening crack was heard through the night. It happened quicker than I could think before they both were gone and I was pushed to the ground, held there by strong arms. I watched as my sister's decapitated bodies were brought to the flames of burning house before being thrown in like rag dolls.
I screamed as if I was the one being burned and there was nothing else in the world that I wanted more
"Mary, Kat!" My cries slowly died to a pathetic whimper and my whole body shook with unshed tears, the curse of who I am never giving me the satisfaction of having them.
I hear a tutting sound and my head snapped towards the monster who had ruined my life.
Aro
I snarled and tried to attack but I was pushed down again
Aro shook in his head in what seemed disappointment before I was suddenly yanked up to my feet.
"Now where is it?" He started to walk towards me with no rush.
"I will never tell you." I growled but I stopped moving as a plan came to mind. He sighed and he slowly peeled off his gloves.
"Then I will just have to see everything, such a bother." He finally stopped in front of me and his hand slowly came towards mine.
I suddenly pulled my arm up, causing the vampire who was holding me to try to catch it. I bit down and ripped and I was suddenly let go.
I see the fear flash in Aro's clouded eyes before I ran away, hearing the shouts fade away.
