An Affair to Remember
Chapter one
Fox paced back and fourth over the mansion waiting for his fiance to arrive. His grandfather made him propose to the Basso's daughter Caroline. They where the richest family that came after the Cranes. The door finally opened he hoped it was them but it was Theresa and little Ethan. Fox loved Theresa so much.
"Fox!" Little Ethan yelled jumping into fox's open arms. Theresa walked over and took Ethan out of his arms.
"Go play baby" Theresa said sending his little boy towards the playroom. "Fox"Theresa said.
"Yeah" Fox said perking up towards him.
"Nevermind" Theresa lied she wanted to be the one marrying Fox. Theresa wanted to tell him that she loved him. Julian and Rebecca walked into the mansion. The Basso's walked along with them.
"Ah, Fox here you are. "I'd like you to meet you're future wife. Caroline Lynn Basso" Julian said Carolina stepping forward. Theresa's heart broke all over again.
"Hello" Fox said placing a kiss on her hand.
"Hi" Caroline replied back. They had talked for hours. Theresa just sat in the gazebo. Gwen came out.
"So Theresa. You planning on taking Fox away from Caroline?" Gwen asked in a devious voice.
"Gwen can you leave me alone" Theresa said Turing her head away form Gwen wiping the tears away. Gwen laughed and left a crying Theresa.
Theresa walked back into the warm house. She was walking up to her room. She had always said goodnight to Fox. She walked into his room, she flicked on the lights. There was Caroline and Fox in bed naked sleeping. Theresa shut the lights off and shut the door. She let the tears flow out of her eyes.
