A.N My shortest story based on a picture in the title!
Thanks for reading. Also, my first time doing a story where the name of the person speaking isn't mentioned, though you probably know who it is :P
Written for the surrealism art in the art club of Hogwarts school of challenges and assignments
He stared at himself in the mirror, why? He was gorgeous, obviously.
Vain voices would hiss at him in the streets.
They are simple criticizers, he brushed off. Jealous of me!
He was a dangerous man as well. A secret he hoped to keep to the grave. No one would suspect him to be so brilliant. No one knew he was a Ravenclaw, with a bit of Slytherin in his heart.
Like an egg. So different on the inside.
"The secret to getting away with lying is believing with all your heart, that goes for lying to yourself even moreso than lying to another." a wizard had told him.
He laughed though. What a stupid quote. He was not lying to himself! He was saying fact. He was beautiful. The definition of it, in fact.
Harry Potter, gathering more attention than he was! Well, he would have to take a picture with the boy. No, he wasn't jealous. He didn't feel jealous. Why would he be? He was perfect. The perfect smile.
Such Vanity the mirror had said. It will not bode well if you continue to use it. That is my advice, take heed.
He brushed it off. Nothing bad would happen to him.
Nothing-
Who was that face in the mirror?
A.N Hope you enjoyed this bit!
