I stood in the 11th squad barracks grooming my horse, Rose(a dapple grey Arab mare) I turned to Rose and asked,
"how the hell did we end up here, Rose? I mean we can fight decently but I don't know if we can survive the ruthlessness of the eleventh squad." Rose just snorted and shook her head in agreement. She then let out a loud whinny. Some of the members heard her and followed where the noise came from and they found me and her standing in their barracks.
"Way to go, Rose. Now we're in for it." I said to my noisy mount who just snorted.
"Hey captain, she doesn't look to tough does she?" a bald man asked, a tall spiky haired man came closer and says,
"No but we should give 'er a chance. Whadya say boys?" I smirked and chuckled. I touched my blue amulet that hung around my neck and began changing into a dragon. I roared ferociously.
"Oh so you can change your shape huh? this'll be fun." the spiky haired guy said.
I roared and then flew into the air and in circles around the spiky haired guy. As I came barreling down he had his sword ready for my huge dragon jaws, I managed to snap his sword in two.
"You are strong, as a dragon, but how strong are in your Soul Reaper form, Girly?" asked the man.
" Strong enough." I snarled. I touched my amulet again and then I changed back into a Soul Reaper. My eyes glazed over into a shade of icy blue.
" I am impressed, Girly. You're a member of Squad 11. What's your name?"said the spiky haired guy.
"Mizuhime Shunsui. I'm the daughter of Kyoraku Shunsui and Retsu Unohana. and that dapple grey horse over there is my trusted steed, Black Rose but for short you can call 'er Rose." I replied
Rose tossed her head and pawed the grass. The bald man tried to approach her but she lifted her back leg ready to kick him
"hold on there, buddy. Let her sniff you first, she's ready to kick , look at her back leg."
"I'm sorry, it's just she has trust issues and so do I." I said stroking my horse's silky coat.
"She is beautiful as are you my dear." Said a man with bobbed black hair.
"Oh well thank you."I answered blushing a light shade of pink. Rose's ears pricked at this and her tail swished lightly.
"You can pet her now, I think. She put her back leg down."
The short haired man approached her and petted her nose.
"She's not all that bad when you get to know her."
"You two have fun, cap'n and I are going to look around for some asses to kick."
"KENNY! There's a horsey in the barracks! Can I pet it huh can I can I?"
"I'd ask our new squad member. She is the owner of the poor beast." Kenpachi said looking at the tiny pink-haired girl on his shoulder. She hopped down and walked toward me and Rose.
"Oh hello. I'm the new squad member Mizuhime Shunsui, what's your name?"
"Yachiru. these are my friends Ikkaku and Yumichika. that big guy's name is Kenpachi but only i can call him kenny."
