The ALTA Interview
Interviewer: well then, can I have the Avatar come in first?
Aang: I've never really done this before.
Interviewer: relax, i'm just gonna ask a few questions and you answer the best you can, okay?
Aang:*sigh*okay.
Interviewer: so Aang, how was it like to travel with two master benders, a boomerang-throwing water tribe warrior, and an exiled prince for about a year?
Aang: I love being with every one of them! We all are a bunch of misfits, and we aren't afraid to say it. You can never get tired being around them because there is so much personality to go around!
Interviewer:*scribbles on note pad*I see... and what is Katara's personality to you?
Aang: Katara is the mother to us all. She is so sweet and gentle and cares about everyone and everything even if there is no reason to. Plus she could heal our cuts and bruises we all get after some hectic "run for our lives" that is part of our daily routine!
Interviewer: what about Toph?
Aang:*chuckles* Toph is the most...up front person you will ever meet. Even though she is pretty tough, you will find it very easy to talk to, if you mind the sarcasm!
Interviewer: and Sokka?
Aang: Sokka is by far the funniest person in the group! There is a rare time or two when he is serious, but most of the time he is the meat and sarcasm guy!
Interviewer:*sips some of her tea* and now what about Firelord Zuko?
Aang: Zuko is very quiet, though when he tells a story around the fire, everyone seemed to be sucked in by his tales of traveling around the world for 3 years. At first we did not trust him, but he practically saved our lives, and katara's twice! He also is an expert teacher and rarely gives me a break!
Interviewer: wow, you weren't kidding when you said that you guys are a "variety of personalities!"
Aang: no ma'am.
Interviewer: please, call me Shyla!
Aang: okay then...Shyla. What's next?
Shyla: how did it feel to be struck by lightning?
Aang: I really don't know. It was so quick that I barely felt it. You should save that question for Zuko!
Shyla: okay then, now I want to know one more thing...is it true that almost everyone has had a "life-changing field trip with Firelord Zuko?
Aang: of course! I went with him to find the origin of firebending, he helped Sokka break his father out of jail while getting arrested himself, and helped Katara find the person who killed her mom. He took everybody but Toph on a field trip, and they are all personal bonds that we had with Zuko, and bonds of friendship are unbreakable.
