So I was watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and I thought to myself, " Why not." , so I just changed the characters to Steven Universe characters (pretend Rose lived and Steven has a mom) and did this:
Garnet-Sayaka Miki
Pearl-Mami Tomoe
Amethyst- Kyouko Sakura
Steven- Madoka Kaname
Rose- Homura Akemi

They tried again, but failed. Another failed attempt to get their best friend back. She was gone, forever. It was horrible. As always.
Amethyst was both angered and upset, Pearl was shocked, Garnet was gone forever, lost in a state of despair and hatred, Rose was sad, but Steven, she was completely devastated. Her best friend, gone. Her heart broken. The scene of the barrier faded back to the train station.
"Garnet, Dammit!" Amethyst said as she slammed her fist down on the rail "How could this happen..."
" I-It's horrible!" Steven said crying into his hands "This isn't right! It's awful!"
As Rose stood there about to cry, yellow ropes appearing from nowhere grab and ties her up. Amethyst's gem is shot into pieces as she falls to the floor dead, with Rose watching.
"P-Pearl?"
As Pearl holds her gun, crying tears, she points it to Rose's gem, now in the front of her neck. "I-If soul gems g-give birth to witches, t-then we have no choice but to die! Both me-and you!"
"Stop It!" Before she can pull the trigger, Pearl's gem is shot into pieces by Steven, who watches in sorrow as Pearl falls to the ground, dead.
...
" I don't want this! This is insane! I can't take it!" Steven broke down in tears as he sat and cried. As the ropes dissolved, Rose slowly walked over to Steven she bent down to her crying son, hoping to cheer him up.
" It's okay, son. Don't cry. It'll get better. We can defeat that evil witch Walpurgisnacht together!"
"How?" said the crying bow as he looked up, his face now red and swollen from crying. " Garnet is dead, Pearl just killed Amethyst, and if I didn't do anything she would have killed you and I! Now I killed her and all of my friends are dead!"
Rose got closer to her son and looked at him with starry eyes. " Listen Steven, you are my brave little boy. So what if we lost some of our dearest friends, we can make it through! Now, lets go fight and defeat an evil witch!"
"Okay."
