Chapter 1: Tickets
Carlisle POV:
As I drove home from work, I thought about how everyone was going to be so psyched. I'd booked cabins for Eternity Cruise online after work, and it was going to be so perfect. Esme and I could have together time, and the rest of them would enjoy the time together. I parked the Mercedes in the driveway and walked into the house, anxious to see the others' reactions when I revealed the plans regarding the cruise.
"I'm home, and I've got great news!" I yelled as I opened the door. Everyone ran into the living room, eyes bright with excitement as to what the news could possibly be. Once they'd all settled down, I pulled the tickets out of my pocket. "WE'RE GOING ON A CRUISE! ETERNITY CRUISE!" I shouted. This was met with exuberant reactions. Alice jumped up and down, Emmett shouted "WOO HOO!", Rose scoffed at their reactions-though I could tell she was just as excited as they were-Jasper just thanked me, Bella looked at Edward like she was on Cloud Nine, and Edward just smiled like he'd known this was going to happen, exchanging a glance and wink with Alice.
"So when is it? Where does it travel? " Esme asked politely. She was the only one who hadn't said a word, but I could spot happiness in her eyes.
"June 17th. It departs from Miami, Florida and travels all around the world. I felt it would be a nice family vacation." I replied.
"Only a month away!" Alice cried jubilantly. Somehow, I knew she would be the most excited. She was always so bubbly and full of life, and vacations were her favorite part of summer.
"Thank you so much Carlisle! This is the best!" everyone cheered.
So we all dispersed, and Esme and I headed off to our room to begin packing. This was going to be a great family excursion.
