Based on Episode 4.17 "It's a Terrible Life"
Dean woke up, unsure of where he was exactly. As his head cleared from the after effects of a restful night he began to recognize where he was. He was in his lavish apartment in the heart of Los Angeles. The idea solidified with the noise of traffic drifting in through his window. Rolling over he found the bed to be strangely empty. He could smell fresh bacon and coffee coming from the kitchen. He could catch the slight sound of the bacon sizzling in the pan. Sighing, he pushed the covers off and padded barefooted into the bathroom to relieve himself. A minute later he walked into the kitchen, stretching out languidly, to find Castiel at the stove humming away and cooking. Dean wrapped his arms around Cas lovingly and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Cas leaned back into Dean turning to give him a quick kiss on the lips before resuming his task, cracking some eggs into a separate pan.
"Good morning, handsome."
"Good morning, yourself." Dean replied, smiling. "You didn't have to make me breakfast."
"If I didn't I know you wouldn't have anything to eat until lunch. You have to have your breakfast if you're going to get that promotion."
"Thanks, babe." Dean said as he sat down at the bar style counter.
Cas pulled out a plate and served up breakfast for Dean, setting it down in front of him. "Now hurry up and eat. You're going to be late if you don't get going."
When Dean finished eating, he returned to the bedroom, outfitting himself for the day's work. He was dressed to the nines: black pants and coat, blue and white striped shirt with a white collar, and red suspenders. Now if only he could find his tie…
"Cas?" Dean called out.
"What?" came an answer from the kitchen.
"Have you seen my tie?"
Cas swept into the room and loosened the tie from the headboard of the bed.
"Oh yeah, I forgot we used that one last night." Dean blushed slightly.
Cas smiled coyly, wrapping the tie perfectly around Dean's neck. "How could you forget?"
"Maybe you should remind me." Dean murmured into his ear seductively.
Cas smiled again, kissing Dean as he straightened the tie into place.
"Now's not the time for morning sex. You'll be late if you don't leave now."
Dean sighed in feigned frustration moving towards the door, Cas following behind.
"I love you." Dean said, kissing Cas a final time before he left.
"And I love you." Cas replied sweetly.
"I'll be thinking about you all through my meeting!" he called down the hall as he hurried to the elevator.
"You'd better!" Cas answered back from the doorway, a grin breaking out on his face. He closed the door still grinning to himself. Everything was perfect.
A little too perfect… he thought. Now where had that come from?
Cas frowned but shrugged it off for the moment. He headed back to the kitchen to do the dishes before he'd forget.
