Author: Rasei

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

Summary: Akatsuchi and Itachi meet during a rain storm. Neither are amused.

A/N: This was written because there was Akatsuki stories inside his category. It also parodies those stories where two random character meet, then have a 'romantic' moment. This hasn't been edited.

It had been a chance meeting that rainy day. Itachi just wanted a break from the Akatsuki, his head aching from the consent fighting and bloodshed. He was an ninja, but even he had limits. His eyes were burning slightly, as he left them normal for a change.

He had step out of the ever pouring rain into the small cave. He handed expected bumping into somebody. He looked up to see a rounded face with a plump nose. He would say it was an Akimichi, but the headband looked wrong. He squinted his eyes to see the symbol on the headband, and he sighed.

"Horrible weather out there," said the man.

"Hn," was Itachi's response. Both reached for weapons, but the man stop.

"Temporary truce until the rain stops? Or are you here to assassinate Onoki-sama?"

"I just want to die... What is taking Sasuke so long to kill me anyway?" Itachi turned his back to the man, and sat down. The guy raised an eyebrow.

"You want to die? You're what? Eighteen or nineteen?"

"I'm sixteen." The guy edged deeper into the cave before sitting.

"You have a lot of time left in your life, enjoy them. If you ran away, you should go home. I bet your mom and dad are worry about you." The words dug into the wound in Itachi's heart.

"Don't have a mom or dad. I killed them."

"Did they deserve to die?" asked the man, which Itachi nodded his head.

"My dad was planning on hurting alot of people, and my mom wasn't stopping him." Itachi suddenly wonder why this man was able to get the truth so easily from him.

"I see. That was noble of you. My name is Akatsuchi," said Akatsuchi. Itachi nod his head.

"Itachi," he said.

"Ever thought of joining Iwa, Itachi?"

"No."

"Good... you're to talkative to be a ninja," said Akatsuchi.

"No, I'm not. I'm just too numb to care anymore."

"And anyone reading this story would say you are greatly out of character."

Itachi sighed, then rub his head.

"Do you know how hard it is to find someone who doesn't write me as a bad guy wanting to destroy the world, except for the beautiful Mary Sue that comes into my life? Or making me gay for a fish man? What is wrong with being asexual?"

"At least you're not pair with someone that looks like your grandfather or great-grandfather. I mean the stories pairing Onoki-sama and I scare me to death sometimes."

Itachi snorted.

"You think that is bad? I been paired up with my brother, my father, my mother, and my pet cat from when I was a kid. AT THE SAME TIME! Then for no good reason, Madara, Obito, and the Sage of Six Paths joined in. The Sage of Six Paths isn't even an Uchiha."

"Wow, your life does suck. Look the rain stopped finally," Akatsuchi said, relieved he didn't have to stay in the cave anymore.

"That is good. I wouldn't be force in another romantic moment again," said Itachi, also quite relieve.

"About that..." said Akatsuchi, looking down.

"Don't tell me..."

"As anyone ever told you, you have a pretty... Where are you pointing that kunai?" Akatsuchi staring at the kunai. He moved his eyes up to see red spinwheels in the younger man eyes.

"Do not even finish that thought," said Itachi, his voice emotionally distance. Akatsuchi nodded his head.

"Okay. So?"

"I guess I will go back to the Akatsuki, and you go back to wherever you came from."

"This never happen?"

"This never happen."

And both went their separate ways, never to meet again.
