This is just a short fic I had the sudden inspiration to write. It is written to Last to Know by Three Days Grace. I hope you guys like it but I know its not perfect i wrote it in only like 10 minutes.

This also doesn't mean I'm off my hiatus it just means like I felt like writing something random because I'm procrastinating on all the work I SHOULD be doing... Damn you Ani and Obi-wan -shakes fish-

Sitting all alone in the dark room that he shared with Anakin, Obi-wan stared at his feet from where he sat on the floor in the corner, tears streaming down his face. This was why Jedi's didn't love. It hurt too damn much. This had been his first love and it will most certainly be his last.

He regretted giving into his emotions and Anakin's prodding better. He was older, he was the master and he should have known better. If only he had known that the younger Jedi's feelings for him were temporary he could have saved himself a whole lot of grief.

Anakin just left, he didn't even say anything or explain anything to Obi-Wan. It felt like he was drowning in a bad dream and he couldn't do anything about it. It had all seemed to be going so well for the two of them then all of a sudden he left the older man standing alone, not knowing what to do, and went to his wife, went to Padme.

Obi-wan cringed at the thought of her. Never before had he hated someone so violently. She had known the whole time, known everything but she just smiled innocently like everything was alright. It seemed like when it came to anything that concerned Anakin that Obi-wan was always the last to know.

He clenched his hands into tight fists and pulled his knees up to his chest, burying his face in them. "Never again." he promised himself out loud, repeating it over and over again and turning it into his own personal mantra.

Weeks passed by and Obi-wan found himself again. He opened up his eyes since then and saw what Anakin was truly becoming. Now he could see that Anakin was the worst person to fall in love with.

He watched his ex-love and Padme together with a dark sense of knowing. Anakin would her too and just like he hadn't, she wouldn't see it coming. Anakin was going to leave her for dead, almost like did to Obi-wan.

Obi-wan felt bad for her in a way because she was much deeper in than he had ever dared to go. When Anakin left her she would be the last to know.
