A Dream Come True
I can't believe this is happening. God, I can't believe this is happening! Now before I go any farther, I should probably help get your mind out of the gutter!
This started (sorta) just a little bit ago, but it feels like it's been an eternity. Not too long ago, Riku and I defeated our current enemy, Xemnas, when we thought we were trapped in the Realm of Darkness. But suddenly, a message on a bottle was washed up in front of us. After he skimmed it, Riku handed it over saying it was for me. After reading it, (and learning a VERY special someone wrote it) a doorway appeared out of nowhere.
Next thing we knew, we were falling into the ocean. Once I got my my head out of the water, I couldn't believe what I saw. It was our island… our home.
As fast as we could, we swam towards the shore. To my surprise (kinda), our friends were there. Not our usual friends that played there with us but our new friends. The king, Donald and Goofy, and… and… and Kairi.
I was almost to the shore, when all of a sudden, I'm practically tackled down by Donald and Goofy. After we shared a HUGE hug, (or dog pile, I'm still not sure what it was) Kairi reached her hand out for me.
I looked up at her face. Man, she looked amazing the way the sun shined down on her. I opened my mouth to say something perfect for this moment.
"W-Were back." Defianately not what I intended to say.
"You're home." She whispered just loud enough so I could hear her. And then she did it… she showed me that smile, that special smile that she reserved only for me. For as long as we've known each other, she would show me that smile.
Whenever I see that smile, I know that everything is okay. It's because of that smile that I fell in love with her in the first place. As soon as she helped me stand up, I… well I guess I just let my heart take control.
I took hold of her shoulders and quickly, but carefully, pulled her into a hug. I felt her relax into my embrace as she placed her head on my chest. I gently placed my cheek on top of her head.
After a minute or so, I pulled out of our hug. I saw in her eyes that she was a little disappointed, but if I wanted to do this right, I had to look her in the eyes. I took a deep breath and said…
"I love you, Kairi."
…
…
…
After about two minutes of silence, and staring at her blank face, I gave up. I guess… I guess it wasn't meant to be. Just as I was about to look the other way, it happened…
…
…
…
…she kissed me…
There I was, kissing the girl of my dreams, the girl I literally searched all over not just the world, but the ENTIRE FRAKING UNIVERSE FOR, and I didn't even notice until I heard Riku whistle.
I couldn't believe it, me and Kairi sharing our first kiss, of which I hope to be many, many, MANY more to come. But then, I decided to kick it up a notch. I slowly slid my tongue against her bottom lip. By the time I reached the middle of it, our tongues were at an all out war.
I could tell the others were watching, we both could. But I didn't care, and neither did she. We just kept at it until we ran out of breathe. Then, she said it. She said the one sentence I've always wanted her to say…
"I love you too, Sora."
A/N I gotta say this turned out much better than I originally thought. Please review, any kind is accepted, but good ones are prefered. I might make a nother chapter or a sequel, but if I do, it will probably be a while.
