"Lost and found"

We've missed you.

If you could choose a word to describe how you feel right now, which one would you choose? Your choice would probably be "lost", wouldn't it? Because that's what you are, you're lost. You've lost yourself once again. And there's no way out of it, no escape, no place to go. You can't hide, you can't run. You're stuck in darkness.

Why are you questioning yourself? You're home.

Yeah, you're home. This is the only place you've always felt welcomed, accepted. When you didn't have anyone to turn to, the voices were always ready to listen to you. So why do you want to run from them? Why doesn't it feel like home anymore?

You know what you have to do to feel better. Do it and it will go away.

You know. It would be so easy, you could take your father's old razor blade and just forget everything. A few cuts would be enough. Nobody would ever notice, you're sure of that. It's not like somebody ever did. But why doesn't it feel like the right thing to do? You've done it so many times before and every single time it made you feel better, so why can't you bring yourself to do it?

Emily isn't your home.

But she is. She is your home. You can't imagine a life where she isn't. No matter what happens, she's the home you return to everytime you find yourself wandering alone. Everything goes back to her because she is your constant. When everything disappears, she stays. She's like the Pole Star, always indicating the North, the right way to follow. She's the brightest star, Sirius, making that way easier to see. You can't imagine a life where you aren't hers and she isn't yours. She's your path, your home. You know that now. And if you gave up before, you're not going to do it again.

Do you really think she will take you back? Dreamer.

You'll fight those voices, you'll fight the demons that have been haunting you for so long and you'll defeat them once for all. You'll win. You're stronger. You'll win, because you can't afford to lose, not when it comes to Emily. You've lost her too many times and you just gave up. But that's never going to happen again. It doesn't matter how many times you lose her, it just matters how many times you get to be hers again. And you won't stop trying, ever. Because she is everything and you love her.

You're going to get your heart broken again. But that's fine, we'll wait for you to come back. You know you're always welcome here.

You've done listening to them. They won't take control. Not anymore. You aren't going to come back. You finally won.

You're going to tell her about love on your planet this time. That's a promise.

See you soon, Paige.

Disclaimer: PLL and its characters don't belong to me.

Author's Note: Well, this can be considered a second part of "Temporary Bliss", but it can stand alone, too. Even if reading the other one could help understand Paige a little better. But that's up to you.

I feel the need of explain this really quickly. This Paige's journey from 5x04 to 5x11, so it doesn't happen instantly like it may seem, but it's her struggle to get those voices out of her head. For any clarifications, I'm here.

I want to remember you that English isn't my first language, so I'm sorry for any mistakes. Feel free to point them, so I'll correct them.

Let me know what do you think of it, if you want.

See you next time,

Meek.
