A Christmas Gift
"Lily! Come on! We're going to be late!" Fourteen year old Naomi Malfoy exclaimed. Both girls were on her bedroom getting ready for the Gingerbread making contest.
"Hold on, Naos!" Lily said with a roll of her eyes, used to Naomi's impatience when it came to contests.
Lily was rummaging through her bag obviously looking for something while Naomi glared at her complaining every so often that she was being too slow. Eventually Lily finally found it and smiled, giving the younger girl the box. "I was going to wait until Christmas, but I decided against it."
"It's beautiful," Naomi whispered looking at the glass Angel figurine that was in the box, all thoughts of the contest gone.
