A Closet Geek
"Hey, wait, Cam," Sam called just before the other lieutenant colonel left her lab.
He stopped in the doorway and looked back over his shoulder at her, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "Yeah?" he asked.
Her eyes narrowed fractionally. "You said the dragon's underbelly was its weak point." She smiled faintly. "How'd you know that?"
"Uh…" He glanced down at the floor, then back up at Sam, a sheepish, almost ashamed look on his face. "Well, I do a little fantasy RPing in my spare time. It's common knowledge that the underbelly is where you hit the dragon."
Sam's eyebrows rose. That wasn't the answer she'd been expecting. "You roleplay?" she asked.
"Heh." Cam nodded. "Yeah."
Sam smiled faintly. "I never would've pegged you for a closet geek, Cam," she said.
He grinned. "Yeah, I try to hide all of my geekiness well." With that, he ducked out of the door.
A thought struck Sam, and she called out after him again. "Hey, wait! What exactly does 'all of your geekiness' include?"
