Hey everyone. This little bit of fluff was also written for September Writing Club's Trope of the Month, Lo's Lowdown, Character Appreciation, and Disney Challenge on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For the Trope of the Month I used prompt 4. Dialogue: "I've been waiting all day. What took you so long?". For Lo's Lowdown I used the dialogue prompt of "I'm not looking for anyone's approval. I know who I am.". For Character Appreciation I used both prompt 13. [Restriction] main character must be a Muggle-born and bonus prompt of write Hermione/Remus. For Disney Challenge I used the prompt of Songs 3. Trust in Me and the task was to use the dialogue "Just trust me.". I hope you all enjoy Trust Me.

Remus sighed to himself as he stepped into the room that they shared. He could tell that she had tried to stay up and wait for him to get home again tonight. He could tell from the book that was open across her lap that she had meant to be awake now but just couldn't help falling asleep. Walking over as quietly as he could he lifted the book to put it on the bed side table.

"I've been waiting all day," Hermione mumbled as she blinked sleepy eyes at him. "What took you so long, Remus?"

Those few words felt like a slap to his face. He watched her as she sat up from the bed, the blankets falling from her and puddling around her waist, giving him an expectant look.

"Hermione," he as though to head off the fight he knew would come after the few words that he knew he needed to say, "you know that we shouldn't be together like this."

"Because of what everyone thinks?" she throws the words at him like they are swords and in this case they feel like they are.

"Yes. Because of that. And because I'm too dangerous for you. You know what I am. You what happens to people who get close to people like me. Why are you doing this Hermione?"

"I'm not looking for anyone's approval, Remus," she pulled him towards the bed. "I know who I am and I know what I want. I want us, Remus. I want our relationship. Don't you?"

"It's not that easy, Hermione. We can't be like other couples."

"Why not?"

"Because of what I am."

"I don't care about you being a werewolf, Remus. I love you no matter what. Just trust me on that."

He sighed as he allowed her pull him onto the bed and undress him. He didn't know why he kept fighting her about their relationship she always won. But he owed to them both to protect her from himself.

I hope you all enjoyed Trust Me.
