A/N: The poem below is actually a series of senyrus rather than haikus since they depict human nature. (I guess.) I broke some rules of writing senryus for some fun.

She embraced the dark
and never stood in the light
'Till he came along.

She wants to reach him,
But he is too far away
Standing in the light.
...
He wants to hold her,
His feelings for her were strong
Sadly, he just glanced.
...
She saw him blushing
Luckily, she felt the same
And her eyes met his.
...
But soon danger came
And then into the shadows
she scurried away.
