Many of you are going to think I've gone crazy when you finish reading this. I should tell you that I don't take this couple seriously at all. I was thinking of hilarious pairings and don't ask me why but this came into my head. Haha

I knew that something was up when Selena had cancelled her show at the flower festival. We had recently become the best of friends. So, I didn't what any other best friend would do. I confronted her.

She was hanging out on the beach when I found her in the morning of the festival. She was sitting on the sand and looking out to the sea. A smile was tugging at her lips. I knew that as snarky as she could be, she loved the sea.

"Hey Sel." She looked up at me and a smile burst onto her lips.

"Angie!" She said ecstatically. I giggled and sat next to her on the beach. We sat on the beach watching the sunrise.

"Sel… Are you sure you don't want to dance at the festival?" Suddenly, her cheeks turned red. She turned to me.

"Wh-why no! I could-I could never! I don't want to go!" She managed to sputter out. I smirked.

"And why not?"

"W-well there's this… And I just…. I can't face it! I refuse it!" I cocked my head to the side and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't acting like herself.

"You know, Sel. I have to tell you the truth. You are a terrible liar. Now, really, what is bothering you?"

"W-well I uh… guess… that umm-"

"Hello girls! Are you two heading over to the flower festival? It's unfortunate that you won't be dancing, you that it's my favourite part, Selena. Anyways, I better be going. Good luck on your farm, Angela! Good bye!" Hamilton blurted out. He was wearing his usual suit, with his hair in that ridiculous straight up style. He turned around and ran the other way. Angela looked at Selena to see her face beet-red. She tilted her head to the side. Did Selena…? She smirked.

"Selena, I believe that I know the answer to what is actually bothering you."

"And-and what would that be?" Exclaimed Selena, her face a mixture of embarrassment and anger.

"Is it possible that you…"

"Th-that I what?"

"That you love Hamilton!" I exclaimed. Selena put a hand over her mouth. Her eyes were wide.

"Wh-who told you that?" She stuttered. Ismiled and started laughing. This was the funniest thing I'd ever thought possible.

"R-really?" I fell onto her back and could contain the laughter the was spilling from her lips.

"Y-you can't tell anybody!"

"Aw, it's ok best friend. I won't tell. So long as you promise me to tell him sometime."

"WHAT!"

"Well, when you like somebody it's customary for you to thing to tell them."

"B-but-"She lowered her voice to a whisper. "He's old."

"But you like him." I said in a similar matter. She turned bright red again. Gosh, she was funny when she was in love. I stood up.

"Well, see ya later."

Later that night, I saw my best friend and a certain mayor heading towards the beach. Ditching the festival. HOLDING HANDS.

How's that for strange, eh? lol
