A/N: A silly idea I got while wandering the wikis. Enjoy!
Swiftrunner snarled. "Lady, hrr, shall I fetch it for you? Hgrr."
"No, my dear Swiftrunner. I will investigate and find out what brings this creature into our Forest." The Lady of the Forest pulsed a pale green light as she morphed into her Witherfang counterpart. Witherfang sniffed the air with his nose and slowly stalked in the shadows toward the intruder's moonlight-lined silhouette.
The cat was licking her paw and gnawing at a thorn stuck in it. She let out a short shrill as the thorn came free. Then the cat stared at her paw. Witherfang smelled magic in the air and paused. Licking her paw a few more times, the cat then sashayed down the path as though nothing had happened.
Witherfang was concerned now. He crept closer and closer to the intruder, sniffing. Something was not right. Witherfang asked lowly, "What are you doing here, creature?"
The cat stopped in her tracks, whirled around, and hissed at her pursuer. As she charged Witherfang, she pulsed pink and morphed into her true form: a desire demon of the Fade. "I do not how you are able to speak, wolf, but you will NOT call me a...creature." At that last word she stroked her own breast seductively with one clawed hand while nonchalantly inspecting how the other had healed.
Witherfang growled but did not flinch.
"I know you can speak, wolf," she said, lazily pacing back and forth before continuing, "Though, I know not how. So...SPEAK!" the demon spat as she kicked dirt into Witherfang's face.
Swiftrunner tensed in the bushes behind them but, remembering his orders, snarled and watched angrily.
Pulsing, Witherfang stood, morphed back into the Lady, and shook the dirt from her hair.
Taken back, the demon stumbled over her words, "Oh-oh, it's...it's you. Well, ahem. Hm."
"Why are you here, demon?" demanded the Lady.
"Oh...me? Hm, well, I...um, hm...I was, sigh. Iwastrackingawerewolf. I thought surely changing into the cat form—that I've been bound to for ages, I might add—would...lureoneout."
Swiftrunner's eyes narrowed. He stood and growled from the bushes, "Hrgh, see Lady, I knew there was, hgurgh, something foul about it."
The demon's eyes widened as the corner of her mouth curled. "Ooow, hmm. One of yours?"
"They are their own. And will remain so."
"Oh...pity," she said with a wink to Swiftrunner. He snarled back.
"...What is your name, demon?"
"Ahm...Kitty...?"
"You will leave this Forest, Kitty...now." With that, the Lady stamped her foot. Leaves and roots rushed toward Kitty, who quickly morphed and unwittingly climbed up a Sylvan. The Sylvan shook its branches while Kitty held on for dear life. The annoyed tree roared and started to run around, thrashing at the cat with its limbs.
Escaping to a normal tree, Kitty ran down and away as fast as she could, from the yummy Fade-drenched forest into the West.
