Please don't hurt my baby. Please don't hurt him. I'll do anything that you want just please don't hurt my baby. Please I am begging you please don't kill my baby boy. He's the only thing that I have left of my husband my family. Please, please I am begging please don't hurt him.
A group of men who had long extending fangs just smiled at me and laughed. He laughed long and hard. He laughed and turned to his buddies then back to me. He laughed as he gave me a wink and he still laughed as he pulled out a knife. He laughed when I began to wiggle and cry and pray to god. He laughed as he took the knife and tucked my screaming baby boy into his arm. He leaned down and whispered into my baby's ear.
It's ok my little babe for you will meet your mother again someday.
Looking up at me his eye gleamed.
I'm sorry your mother was so weak my little babe.
The man began to shake. Shake with laughter and evilness. Laughter like no other came from his lips. He laughed as he lifted the knife into the air. He then laughed as it flew down to meet my sons soft belly and shifted upward to pierce his heart. He laughed as he watched the horror upon my face. He laughed as I wailed and finally he laughed as my baby boy took his last gulps of air. My sobs wracked through my body. My body shook from sadness and anger. Anger at these ugly monsters and angry at myself, for failing. Failing my son and failing my husband. Slowly all emotions left me. I simply sat there in silence my body absolutely still. My eyes stared at nothing. My mind was swiped blank. I was nothing. I was not here nor anywhere else. I am not a living being. I am an empty teacup.
Let's go to some other restaurant. I don't like the service here.
They left my baby on the ground as it began to rain. Laughing as they blended into the mist of the night.
