Rin woke from her another horrible nightmare drenched in a cold sweat, shirt sticking to his back. They had become more and more vivid as the nationals loomed closer. The red headed boy was gasping for breath thanking God that Sousuke was visiting his parents and stayed there for the night.
The next day on his way to swimming practice Rin was still trying to get the memories out of his head. When he entered the pool area he stopped dead in his tracks. The sight that greeted him was no other but the Iwatobi swim club.
"RIN-CHAN" a very excited Nagisa yelled to him. Then the blond ran up to him pulling him into a tight embrace.
"Hey, Nagisa what are you guys doing here?" Rin asked puting on a fake smile. Witch Nagisa fell for then Rin glanced at Makoto a look of concern on his face. Rei fell for it to, just then Rin realized.
"Wait, where's Haru?" Rin then glanced at the pool and the raven haired teen was already in the water. "Hey guys get in the water I'll be in in a minute I have to change." Then Rin headed towards the locker rooms. Makoto followed him. Once inside Makoto spoke.
"Rin what's wrong, I know you fooled the others but not me, somethings bothering you, come on spill it"
"I don't know what you are talking about"
" Rin don't lie to me, somethings up just tell me ple-" he stopped as he noticed a tear role down Rin cheek and fall of the tip of his chin. "On Rin" Makoto whispered softly " What happened? " Makoto walked over to the slightly younger red head and put his arms around him sliding down the locker doors and on to the floor. Rin sobbed into the crook of Makotos neck silently shaking.
Once he had calmed enough to speak he told Makoto every thing all the things his coach in Australia had done and made him do all the times he felt like he was dirty and no matter how much he screamed and begged for it to stop it didn't work and only got worse and worse. He would take three showers a day and he could still feel him and the pain.
"And t-the nightmares are g-getting worse to" Rin concluded. All Makoto felt was pain in the way that he thought his heart would explode in pure sadness and anger.
