Geata and Baltar sat in the small room aboard Galactica sharing a smoke and their thoughts before Geata faced the firing squad. Baltar frowned.
"Felix one thing I don't get." He said.
"What?" Geata asked.
"What possesed you to take on the main characters?" Baltar asked.
Geata blinked. "What?"
"Honestly what made you think you and Zarek, two secondary characters with a bunch of other secondary character's backing you up, could take on the Admiral, Lee, Roslin, Tigh, and Starbuck?" Baltar asked.
"It's called being pissed off and thinking we could take on the power of the main characters." Geata replied.
"Well that's smart." Baltar said rolling his eyes.
"Hey! We were winning at first!" Geata countered defensivly
"Right but you were fighting the main characters. Statisics show most minor characters fail miserably at the task of over throwing the main characters." Baltar replied.
"Not my fault Kelly chickened out." Geata replied pouting.
"Speaking of Kelly do you think he'll back in the CIC after this?" Baltar asked.
Geata sighed. "Good question. Who is going to be allowed to live after this. Ron's been killing off character's since the season started."
"No he hasn't."
"Yes he has."
"Who's he killed off?"
"Well let's see there was Cally, Mathias, Jean Borely, Natillee, Pike, Duala, Laird, the Quarum, and now me and Zarek." Geata said ticking off the names on his fingers. "And if you want to go back farther you can add Kat, Jammer, Billy, Elosha..."
"Okay I get it." Baltar replied.
At that moment the door opened. Geata snuffed out his cigar.
"Oh well, I had a good run."
