Kyon watches in stunned silence as the words appear on the computer monitor.
"YUKI.N- I, as an individual, also feel a desire for you to return." The monitor displays. The words are starting to look dimmer.
"Nagato!" Kyon shouts, hitting the monitor with his right hand.
"YUKI.N- Once again, in the library…"
The words are so faded that Kyon can barely read them. In desperation, he hits the monitor even harder in an attempt to clear up the words. "Nagato!" he shouts, even louder.
And then Kyon only has time to read the letters "YUKI.N- sl" before the monitor suddenly cracks from side to side and glass shards fly everywhere.
"Eh?" Kyon stands there in silence for a moment, his hand resting on top of the now broken monitor.
Nothing happens for a few seconds.
"EH?" Kyon says, louder this time, looking at the screen in disbelief. He lowers his voice. "…Am I really that strong?"
Kyon starts yelling again. "Wait, never mind that, was Nagato just about to send me a HINT?!"
Kyon collapses back on his seat again and throws up his arms in frustration. "AGH! That was a hint, wasn't it?! And I broke the monitor so I never got to read it! Damn!"
Kyon starts trying to tear his hair out. "I still have no idea what they want me to do! That hint probably would have helped me a lot! Damn, I should have known that nothing good ever came of hitting delicate electronic devices so hard like that!"
The club room door slams open. "Well, not necessarily," Haruhi says. "Sometimes a 'hard reset' can help fix a finicky drive connection."
"Haruhi?" Kyon says, looking up.
"A 'hard reset' being a strong smack, of course," Haruhi says.
"I thought you were going to take a look around," Kyon says.
"Hey, I'm asking the questions!" Haruhi says, glaring at Kyon. "What's with all the yelling? I can't focus on my investigation when-"
Suddenly, the ground shakes and the power goes out. Haruhi's eyes light up. "Ooh!" she says eagerly, running up the window to watch the celestial take shape.
"That's…" Kyon says, turning to the window as well.
"Heh, something interesting appeared!" Haruhi says, looking out the window with a look of childish glee.
Then, she quickly turns her head back to the computer monitor. "By the way, you're paying for that."
"Ehh?" Kyon says, but Haruhi has already turned her attention back to the celestial.
