Marius didn't know what he was doing when he went into the comic book shop.
He only did this because Grantaire was sick and couldn't pick up his reserved issues. "Suicide Squad," he told him. "It's the newest issue- I have to get it!"
It was interesting to go into the shop. It was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. That is, until he saw the blonde girl-
Pop!
The loud noise startled him. He looked to his side, and a blonde-haired girl was beside him. He gulped.
He was never social. Just the thought of talking to someone- a girl, at that, terrified him. He looked at the girl for a moment.
She was shorter than him, petite, and had the most beautiful face he had ever seen. He looked at her clothes, expecting something skimpy and maybe black nail polish. What he saw shocked him: a Joker shirt, pastel pink leggings and boots. She looks beautiful, he thought. Real beautiful.

"Name?" She asked, before putting the reserved comics on a table.
"Grantaire," he replied. The girl froze in her tracks and looked at him.
"Are you sure? You don't look like him," she said, narrowing her eyes.
"I'm his friend, Marius." He was more confident than he was a few minutes ago. "Maybe he's talked about me?"
The blonde thought for a bit. "Nope, never. Gimme some identification."
He took out his Driver's License and handed it to her. "Pont-mer-cy."
She took a small bundle of comics and went over to Marius.
"Here," she said as she handed him the comic. "Tell Grantaire to enjoy. Now, get outta here- I've got others to attend to."
She softly pushed him to the door, a smile on her face. He looked at his watch: 5:40. He spent a mere
He was about to leave when he remembered to ask for the blonde's name.
She had predicted it. "Cosette." She said as she closed the door. "Everybody calls me 'Sette."
