Yellow sat in the tree next to Chuchu. "Hey, Chuchu, what else do you want to do today? I mean we did just climb the tallest tree in the Ilex forest. How much else can you do in a day?" Yellow wasn't paying attention, and didn't see the Ledian behind her. As it took off, it startled her from her perch.
"Uwhaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" She landed on her face.
"Are you okay?" Yellow looked up, and saw a young man in a hat and goggles.
"Oh, I'm fine, it's just a tree after all." She patted herself off.
"Hey, you're Red's friend! Remember me? My name's Gold!"
Yellow tilted her head. This boy was familiar. She didn't know much about him though.
"Gold eh? I'm Yellow." Yellow offered her hand.
Gold shook her hand, "That's kinda funny. Yellow and Gold!"
Yellow nodded, "Yeah, funny! Um... look I was really bored and... I don't know much about Johto. Do you... Um... Know anything fun?"
Gold smiled, "Sure! I know a great place to go. But we have to get out of this forest first."
Yellow gestured, "Lead on, Goldie!"
"Goldie?"
Yellow blushed, "Oh, sorry."
"No, I don't mind. Goldie. That's actually got a ring to it!" Gold laughed.
Yellow smiled, "Alright."
Gold led them out of the forest. As soon as they were out, he called out his Mantine.
"Alright Mantine, let's Fly!"
Yellow tilted her head, "Mantine can fly?"
"As a species, the answer is no. But for my Mantine? No problem."
Gold got on the Manta Pokemon's back. "Hop on, Yellow!"
Yellow jumped on, tentatively.
They flew to the port city of Olivine. As they flew to the city, Gold pointed out the Pokeathlon dome, the National Park, and the other sights of Johto.
Yellow didn't know she had fallen asleep. She opened her eyes, realizing she was leaning on Gold.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Idiot! You'd better hope you didn't drool! Yellow thought.
Gold laughed, "It's alright. We're here!"
Gold took her to eat at the Olivine Cafe. As they ate, they talked about the difference between Kanto and Johto, and also the similarities between the regions.
Gold blurted, "Yeah. I don't think I've ever seen a Johto girl nearly as beautiful as you Kanto girls."
Yellow blushed. "Th-Thank you, Gold..."
Gold blushed as well. Soon, the sun began to sink. Gold took Yellow to the Olivine port. "The SS Aqua is docked here. It'll take you back to Kanto in a jiffy."
Yellow smiled, and looked nervously at her hands. "So um... I was wondering..."
On an impulse, she stood on her toes and kissed Gold.
Gold blushed.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what I-"
Gold put his finger to her lips, and kissed her back. "Come back again some time."
Yellow smiled, "Without a doubt, Gold."
