Lena was always really wasteful when it came to paper planes so she was allowed only one per day, so of course the first thing she does is lose it, well, maybe not lose it, she knew it landed behind the school building but there were a lot of bushes back there that wouldn't exactly make finding it easy.
When she got closer to the tiny bush forest she heard a soft melody coming from it's center, she figured would be a good place as any to start looking.
She crawled into the foliage until it gave in and she could see a pale girl dancing twirling to the song, with her black hair tied neatly in a pony tail.
-Your dancing is really pretty.
-...Merci...-She didn't expect the sudden company nor did she look happy with it.
-Mercy? I think Angie is-
-It's French for thanks, merci.
-You're French love?
She nodded.
-and it's Amélie.
-Nice to meet you, I'm Lena.
-Why are you here?
-I'm looking for my paper plane.
-I've seen it, it fell next to my...Eeek araignée!-she jumped back.
-What?
-There's a spider on my music box!
Lena squinted.
-It's just a little spider; it's probably more scared of you-
-They feel no emotion!
-Alright, alright.
-What are you doing?!
She asked letting go of the arm she didn't realize she was holding as the brunet silently walked to the creature and with her paper plane guided the spider away from the music box which she picked up and returned to it's rightful owner.
-M-merci.
-No problem love, let's just get out of here.
-But what if there are more spiders.
-I'll go first to clear the way and you go after.
And so they did.
-Thank you...again.
-Hey, do you wanna be friends?
-Non, not really.
-It's alright love, but I'm still gonna be your friend anyway.-she said with a big grin on her freckled face.
-Do you always call people 'love'?
-Sure do love.
She rolled her eyes at her giggling new friend.
