In a kingdom far away, a young princess was born to the king and queen. Naming her princess Bonnie, the young girl grew up with three very notable features. She had three pale yellow markings that dotted her face, as well as blue-gray ones dotting her elbows and knees. As if to hide it, her mother would always force her to wear dresses with long sleeves, and they had to go down past her knees. Her hair was always styled in a long, waist-length braid, with bangs almost draping over her midnight blue eyes. These would conceal her facial birthmarks. Her greatest and most dazzling aspect was her light green hair, that her parents demanded was natural. And that if she grew it out, it would fade to yellow, then into a bright orange.
Those much less fortunate would think her life was the greatest, and wish they were her. Bonnie got what she wanted when she wanted it, regardless of how mediocre it was. Sometimes she wanted model airplanes, other times she wanted barbie dolls to prance the hallways with. Many noted that she was both strong and graceful. Though asides from her hips, she was lacking in the feminine department. Nobody dared note it out loud, for fear of the king and queen's disapproval. They had been hunting for Bonnie's perfect prince for a long time, but while pretty and graceful, she was also very stubborn. She had many desired traits that no prince that had tried to take her hand had. Many were rather silly, such as not wanting a skinny prince, wanting more of a buff and strong one.
Her parents never argued with her, making her life seem to just be clouded in "Yes! Yes! Yes!" from every person in her kingdom. But now that she was older, and ready to start thinking about continuing her heritage, this 18-year-old princess was beginning to feel… out of place. Bonnie had everything handed to her, she had the life that others wish they could have. They wished they could dance around carelessly, and wear dresses made of fine silk. They wished they could drink the expensive champagne, or wear a crown made of gold and diamonds. Or eat at the highest ranked of dining tables, eating only the richest of foods. Though, Bonnie could now see that she might've been goofed up with someone else. Bonnie now wished she was someone else. Not the princess or the queen and king's pride and joy. She wanted to be a regular old towns person… but how could she change lifestyles just like that? Royalty to broke in an eye blink? Impossible.
Right?
