AN: I do not own FMA. Enjoy!
This is a love that can't be undone.
It's a love that's been quite spun
Through history and time
It's a love that is a crime.
For the raven haired man and golden queen,
It's breaking apart at the fragile seams.
The charade that they both put on.
The tough exterior,
The stoic faces.
No one knows that true love laces
Through their hearts and eyes
Through the military that ties up their hearts.
They cannot speak of their love
How deep and how far it goes
How their feelings flow
Like many a sparkling river.
How their love burns
Like many a fire the man created
From his own fingertips.
If one should slip
The duo is doomed
If one should fall
Trouble to all
Who follow.
But as the moon shines high above the black
And their growing love should indeed attack
The large hearts of the man and queen
Then who are we to judge?
Who are we to deem
A crime?
So, it is love, I do think.
These two love
These two are linked
Through fires and bullets
Secrets and burns
Mothers and fathers
Twists and turns!
But it is love, as I do think.
The King of the land
and
The Guardian of him.
The love beginning in the sand
And beauty's flesh burned forever
On a whim.
AN: Ahhh, it seems I have taken a new turn, haven't I? XD. Seriously, though, this little poem (I use the term "poem" as loosely as one could use it, seeing as how I don't consider it to be a traditional one) came from me having to write a journal entry based on this prompt titled "Is This Love?", which is why I kind of answer that question around the end. I don't really know how I want this to be received, exactly, but I hope you liked it, at the least!
Until next time,
Violet.
