AN: This is supposed to take place the night after Sesshomaru revived Rin. It's sort of an introduction to parenthood for him. It's pretty much just a cute idea I got and I had to get the cute OUT! The story is based after a scene from The Lion King 1 ½ but I made a few changes.
Disclaimer: Honestly, if all these other people don't own the InuYasha characters what are the odds that I do? Alright I do not friggin own the InuYasha characters... But I do have a pretty notable shrine to Sesshomaru! I also have a portable one and a picture in my binder! No, I'm not crazy... just in love...
The First Night With RinSesshomaru laid on his back and stared at the stars. It had been a very strange day for him. Not that a series of strange things had happened to him or anything, just one strange thing. He had resurrected a little human girl. He started falling asleep and began having a dream when a small voice broke in.
"Lord Sesshomaru, I've gotta go..." said Rin.
"Go?" said Sesshomaru, still half asleep. "Where are you going?"
"No, I mean go."
"Oh go!" he said realizing what she meant. He sighed and got up grudgingly.
After a while they came back and Sesshomaru went back to lying on his back. He had just fallen asleep when...
"Lord Sesshomaru?"
He opened his eyes slightly and turned to look at her. "What is it, Rin?"
"I'm hungry..."
"Rin, it's late."
"I know but..." Her stomach growled.
Sesshomaru sighed and got up again.
They came back after a while and Sesshomaru had barley laid down when...
"Lord Sesshomaru?"
"Yes, Rin?"
"Now I'm thirsty..."
"You just ate."
"I know, it made me thirsty."
He sighed and got up. "You do realize you're going to wake up again in a little while..."
They came back after a little while and Sesshomaru fell asleep quickly. He started having a pleasant dream where he was taking the Tetsusaiga away from his younger brother when...
"Lord Sesshomaru?"
He groaned. "Yes, Rin, what is it?"
"I've gotta go again..."
He sighed and got up.
After they got back again Sesshomaru laid down. What have I gotten myself into? he thought. I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever know sleep again...
"Lord Sesshomaru?"
"What, Rin?" said Sesshomaru in a rather annoyed tone.
"I... uh... I had a bad dream..." said Rin, getting quieter with each word.
He looked at her curiously. Then he pulled her close to him and draped his fur gently over her. She snuggled it slightly and fell asleep. Sesshomaru looked around and when he was sure no one was looking, he smiled. Maybe this won't be so bad after all...
