Sweet Contradictions

She bends the water so gracefully, like a calming tide. Only I can see the fire raging within her. So much has happened to her that. She has been scarred like me. Her scar is not visible on the outside like mine. It is hidden deep within her so that no one else notices. She acts strong and brave for everyone else but for me, she shows her true self. The true self of her that is such a combination of ice and fire mixed together. She goes back and forth between the two. To someone she hates-like me long ago- she will be cold and harsh. She will show no mercy. To those who are her close friends and to those who have done little to hurt her (or have at least made up for it) she is warm and passionate. She will never turn away from someone in pain. She is strong, calm, powerful, gentle, weak, beautiful, head-strong, open-minded. She is a sweet contradiction.
