Want Me to Fly
Hello, it is I, Skay J. No, this is not another "Our Own Little Anime Chatroom" story, or a Monty Python/Digimon songfic. This is a song I wrote for a story I am writing, called "Highlander; The Digidestined Saga". Unlike my other stories, so far it isn't exactly funny. I don't mean them to be (yet, anyways).
After talking to a friend (and fellow fanfiction.net writer), I considered writing this up separately first.
After reading it, I realized that each verse in this song could be for the three main characters in my story. The first being for Yamato, the second is for Beck (a character I made up for the story), and the third for Taichi.
As you can tell by the title, my story is a Highlander/Digimon Crossover (And Duncan McCloud's in it, too!). That is half why I chose to refer to a blade in the song. The other reason is of Yama's Japanese theme talking about walking on the edge of a Knife. Spiffy way of doing it, huh?
Enough of my yapping. Here's my song, called "Want Me to Fly". Enjoy!

*Sniffles* O my God. That was depressing. I wanna cry. It's one of those times where I wish I was in a band so I could write music to it and perform it.
Hey, at least in my story Matt's new band plays it. I also think this will be the theme song for my story. Now I gotta finish two stories *ducks from the rotten fruit thrown by OOLACR fans*. Sorry guys. Will write new one soon (I hope)!!!

P.S. -Any body with a band out there that wants to possibly use the lyrics and write a melody for it, you can, on two conditions (Like this will ever happen). 1) Ask me first. If you one day get popular and use this song with out asking, I will sue. 2) Send me a demo please????
