Hey, everyone! I know I'm lazy with Forgotten Marauders, my other story, but I'm still trying to get inspiration. I hate forcing myself to write. Anyway, this is my first Young Wizards story. Steve and Lily come from Raven of Blackbird Crew on Fictionpress. There's a little bit of OOC-ness with Dairine, but I tried. I hope you guys like it!

Dairine POV

I was on the planet, using my laptop/manual to work with the motherboard, designing robots and eating a bologna sandwich. Logo and the others I'd created were moving around and talking to each other and me as I worked. All of a sudden there was a small pop of displaced air and a boy appeared.

"Where am I?" He scowled at me. "Who're you? Where'd everyone go? I'll get you for this, guys!" That last one was yelled while he shook his fist.

"Why are you asking me? Don't you have a manual?" I was kind of confused; was this guy stupid or what?

"What are you talking about? Hey, is that a bologna sandwich? Can I have one? Lily, Raven, and the rest have been starving me!"

I was unimpressed, to say the least. If that guy was a wizard, then he should have a manual and be able to know these things himself. If he wasn't a wizard, then how was he here? He looked like a human, and spoke American English...

"Give me a sandwich, now." And then there was that. Seriously, dude, I'm not going to give you my sandwich. Get your own. I was going to ignore him when a green light hit my shirt, and it cleaned and repaired itself, and I suddenly felt refreshed and happy. Huh?

"Sorry, wrong one," he muttered. Next, he threw an orange fireball at me. I dodged, and he continued to scowl. What was this guy? That didn't look like wizardry to me. He shot light-balls all the colors of the rainbow at me, which I moved away from, because some of them were really weird. I tried to continue to work, but he kept distracting me. Briefly I wondered if he was the Lone Power in disguise; but then again, I wasn't sure that the Lone Power would act like that.

I finally gave him a bologna sandwich. That seemed to satisfy him for the moment. The robots were swarming around him, asking him questions in the Speech. He stared at them. "Huh?"

He didn't understand the Speech at all? I was really curious. "Who are you?" I asked him.

"Steve, from Base Center. I'm one of the people in the military program. Who're you?"

"Dairine, but that's not important right now. Do you come from the planet Earth?"

"Yeah, why? Aren't we on Earth? I'm not an alien!"

I sighed. "You're American, right?"

"Yeah."

"And you're not a wizard?"

"No. Wizards don't exist. It would be really cool if they did, though."

"And you think this is Earth? Look around! We are billions of light years from Earth!"

"WHAT?!" He paused for a moment. "RAVEN!"

"You seriously didn't notice."

"Nope. I'm gonna kill Raven; it has to be her fault."

That seemed rather strange to me, and I figured that he was just plain weird, so I used wizardry to bind him while I worked. Of course, that didn't last long. Someone appeared and started yelling at him. It was a girl this time, dressed in all white.

"STEVE WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! IT'S GETTING REALLY WEIRD BACK AT BC! RC STOPPED TALKING IN MONOTONE AND IVY IS QUIET!" It went on like that for some time before she looked around. "Huh? Steven, where are we?"

"I don't know!" He yelped, shivering. "Ask her! She says we're billions of miles from Earth!"

"What? Ahh, no matter. RC talked about this. You're Dairine, right? Sorry if he bothered you. I'm Lily."

"Huh? Oh, not that much." I was puzzled, but at least this one seemed a little nicer.

"We'll be going then! Bye!" The two of them disappeared. I have a feeling I'll meet them again. Maybe then I'll get some real answers.
