Arthur was just looking for somewhere to drown his sorrows. He 'd come out to his father. Honesty was a highly valued thing in the Pendragon house but admitting your sexuality ,that's different. He went into 'The Cavern'. A pub he never went into but was always thinking about going into. There was a poster on the door about live music with a banner stripped across.'MERLIN EMRYS'. Poor kid ,what was his mother thinking when naming him?
There was a mixture of old people and university students just sipping at their galsses. There was a boy sat on a stool in the corner tuning his guitar and then began to play the intro of the song. This must be the Merlin Emrys the musician guy advertised on the door. The mans voice led him out of his thoughts.

Merlin sang with all the passion his voice could; make him feel like Freya could hear. This was his song for sister who left him alone. No mum, no dad and no sister anymore.
Arthur listened after song meant somthing. A song with an underlying meaning; that was a treasure to him, maybe even for someone. A loved one who's now lost.A lover . The second verse began.

Merlin fought back the tears that burned at his eyes. He would sing his bit. Why did he chose to sing here? The answer was Freya asked him to make somthing of himself, show the world who he was.

Arthur watched on as Merlin changed his postition, his head faced down and he knew why.A lone tear.

A small clap came from around him. He knew the order of his songs so quickly moved on before he lost it.
Arthur clapped but Merlin seemed to be in his own world as he carried on regardless. He knew this song so easily. His mum listened to it with him when he was younger to get him to sleep. What A wondefull world.
When the show finished Merlin walked up to bar. Arthur approached the raven as he ordered a pint.
"That song meant something ay?"Arthur enquired, trying to lighten the aura that came with the boy that stood before him.
"Yeah. Me and my sister used to sing it." Merlin replyed swirling his beer.
"What stopped you? Singing with her I mean she must have had a beautiful voice too." Arthur said surprised by the sadness in the reply.
"She died. Told me to be someone. Why you here then?" Merlin said sill staring at his pint.
"Drown my sorrows" Arthur said "You?"
"Sing away the blues"
